Account and Data Deletion

How to request the removal of your personal information and account data from Madrasa Hausa.

Important Notice

Deleting your account is permanent. Once your account is deleted, you will lose access to all enrolled courses, learning paths, certificates, and historical purchase records. This action cannot be undone.

1 Method 1: Self-Service Deletion via Dashboard

If you are currently logged into your account, you can initiate immediate deletion:

  1. Log in to your Madrasa Hausa Account.
  2. Navigate to your Account Settings or Profile Page.
  3. Scroll down to the Danger Zone section.
  4. Click on Delete Account and confirm your password or security pin to finalize deletion.

2 Method 2: Request Deletion via Email Support

If you are unable to access your dashboard or prefer assistance from our support team, you can request data removal manually:

  • Send an email to support@madrasahausa.com from the email address registered to your account.
  • Use the subject line: "Request for Account and Data Deletion".
  • Include your full name and registered username in the message body.
  • Our support team will process and confirm the complete removal of your personal profile within 48 to 72 hours.

3 What Data Is Retained vs. Deleted?

Completely Deleted

  • • User profile and account credentials
  • • Course progress, bookmarks, and quiz scores
  • • Personal contact details and preferences

Retained (When Required)

  • • Statutory financial transaction & tax logs
  • • Invoicing records required by payment gateways
